From the Pokémon Video Game Showdown to the excitement of the 2008 Pokémon TCG World Championships, the weekend of August 15th-17th was purely electric for thousands of Pokémon fanatics from across the globe.

Fans of both the Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon video games swarmed the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort to compete for the chance to call themselves the best Pokémon players in the world. The competition was fierce, but when the dust settled, new champions were crowned in both the Pokémon Video Game Showdown and the Pokémon TCG World Championships.
