On and On
Chris Fulop’s "Blaziken Tech" deck
Versus
Reed Weichler’s "Rocky Beach" deck

So, no, you probably couldn’t battle down to a mere one Prize card with 0 cards in your discard pile... but hey, that’s where these 2004 World Championships decks have ended up, at least for the sake of our puzzle!

It’s the beginning of your turn, and you just drew Pokémon Nurse. You have everything you need to Knock Out that Swampert ex and take your last Prize card. What do you do?

On and On: Solution

Before attacking
--Play Rare Candy to evolve Torchic to Blaziken
--Use Pokémon Nurse to remove the 3 damage counters from Blaziken (or from Torchic before you evolved it) and discard the Fire Energy card attached to it
--Use Team Aqua’s Manectric’s Poké-Power Power Shift to move the 2 Fire Energy cards attached to Team Aqua’s Manectric to Rayquaza ex
--Use Blaziken’s Poké-Power to attach the Fire Energy card that’s in your discard pile to Rayquaza ex
--Attach the Fire Energy card in your hand to Rayquaza ex
--Use Switch to put Blaziken on your Bench and make Rayquaza ex your Active Pokémon

Now you’re ready to attack with Rayquaza ex, using Dragon Burst to discard all 4 Fire Energy cards you attached to do 160 damage. It took a lot of Energy moving around and around, but you take your last Prize card and win!
