The
Pokémon TCG World Championships is an annual tournament event that welcomes
Pokémon TCG players from around the world for a weekend showdown to determine the
world’s best.
Each year, finalists from over 25 countries converge for one weekend to compete for the
ultimate title of
Pokémon TCG World Champion. Among these players are National Champions and the
defending Champions from the previous year's World Championships.
The
Pokémon TCG World Championships are free and open to the public. If you haven't
qualified by the time Worlds rolls around, there is a Last Chance Qualifier tournament held on the
Friday preceding the Championships. This year, the Last Chance Qualifier will be held on Friday,
August 10th. Anyone and everyone is welcome to try their hand at this event.
If you don't qualify to compete for the title of
Pokémon TCG World Champion, you're still welcome to come by and take part in the
many other activities taking place on site. Get your picture taken with a
