Togetic

Togetic (EX Dragon Frontiers, #11) has only 60 HP, but its free Retreat Cost can make it a thorn in your opponent’s side. Togetic’s Delta Copy attack needs only 2 Energy to work against those frequent Delta Pokémon. What’s best about this particular attack, though, is that it doesn’t need the necessary Energy to copy your opponent’s attacks. That makes Togetic a useful card against heavy-hitting Pokémon that need 3 or more Energy to attack!

Arbok

Arbok (EX Dragon Frontiers, #13) is a heavy-hitting Pokémon. Many players like to use Delta Species Pokémon, increasing the likelihood that Strangle will do 80 damage for only three Energy. That’s about as much as a Stage 2 Pokémon-ex can dish out. Arbok also has a very quick attack in Burning Venom. Using only one Energy, your opponent’s Defending Pokémon could be Burned and Poisoned. Better still, you might like to play the Full Flame Stadium card with this attack. Your opponent’s Defending Pokémon may end up with 50 damage before your opponent can even draw his or her next card!

Xatu

The main use for Xatu (EX Dragon Frontiers, #25) is its Poké-Body, Extra Feather. Doing 80 damage with your Stage 2 Pokémon isn’t always enough for a one-hit Knock Out, but with Xatu in play, and Gardevoir ex as your Active Pokémon, its attack for 80 becomes one for 90 instead. This is just enough to see off Banette ex and either Mew ex. And if you like Dark Energy and can attach them to Xatu, Confuse Ray can do some decent damage for 40 and will confuse most Pokémon!

Island Hermit

Not only that, but Island Hermit gives you the ability to draw two extra cards. Wow, he’s such a nice guy! Holon Legacy

Don’t worry about all the new Delta Species Pokémon out there because Holon Legacy is your new best friend! Brand new from EX Dragon Frontiers, Holon Legacy makes sure that every Delta Species Pokémon in play cannot use their Poké-Power. But watch out, those Delta Species Pokémon also lose their Weakness, giving them a better chance of survival in the battlefield. Use this Stadium card wisely and you will create your own legacy.

Snorlax

Sometimes your deck just needs a break—time to rebuild after a tough few turns. Snorlax, a Delta Species Pokémon from EX Dragon Frontiers, is the master of the power nap, and that’s exactly what he’ll give your deck, too! He has both a Poké-Power and Poké-Body, and they work together spectacularly to soak up damage from your opponent and dish it right back. Use the Poké-Power Dozing to put Snorlax to sleep, and remove 2 damage counters. Don’t worry, though. Snorlax likes being Asleep. Your opponent won’t like it, though, because whenever Snorlax is Asleep between turns, his Poké-Body Bedhead activates, dishing out 2 counters to your opponent’s Active Pokémon. The best part is that you don’t have to use any energy to pull off this combo! You can safely attach it to your bench, preparing for the next big battle… that is, if your opponent can ever Knock Out Snorlax!

Tropius

Need a cure for what ails you? Tropius (23/101), a Delta Species Pokémon from EX Dragon Frontiers, is your Pokémon! Its Poké-Power Tropical Heal not only cures every status effect in the game when it comes into play, but it is also the only way to remove the Gardevoir ex’s Imprison markers and Tyranitar ex’s Shockwave markers from all your Pokémon at once. It can also be a handy attacker in a pinch. Grind gives you the potential to do unlimited damage if you can stack enough Energy on Tropius, and since Tropius is a Metal-type Pokémon, you can use Metal Energy to turn it into an effective shielding Pokémon, too. If the status effects of Gardevoir ex or Tyranitar ex are popular at your league, you're going to want at least one Tropius in every deck—doctor’s orders!
